I developed a CNN-based pipeline to classify and visualize eye diseases using real images from Instituto da Visão de São Paulo, in partnership with UNIFESP. The pipeline processes ocular fundus images through 4 networks trained on various eye conditions, providing the most likely pathology and a Class Activation Map. It addresses image variability from different devices and diagnoses cataract, diabetic retinopathy, excavation, and vessel abnormalities.
